Kingdom Cup 2027

Following a sold-out 2026 event, we’re delighted to open registration for the 2027 Kingdom Cup, taking place from 7–10 April 2027 in County Kerry.

Three days of links golf, almost €5,000 in prizes, live scoring, our Champions Dinner and, of course, the battle for the Kingdom Cup Green Jacket — all taking place during Masters week.

Golf
Three rounds of links golf in County Kerry, including two rounds at Waterville Golf Links and one round at Dooks Golf Links.

Champions Dinner
Champions Dinner on Friday, 9 April, hosted by our 2026 Kingdom Cup Champion.

2027 Tournament Format

For 2027, both rounds at Waterville will count towards the Kingdom Cup, with Dooks played as a social round.

This allows us to bring all 120 competitors together at Waterville on Friday for the final round, creating a proper tournament atmosphere as we crown the 2027 Kingdom Cup Champion.

Important Information for Dooks

Competitors can choose to play their Dooks round on Wednesday or Saturday.

If you are considering Saturday and planning to travel home that day, please be aware that tee times will run from 11:10am to approximately 2:00pm.

Due to the number of golfers looking for early Saturday tee times, we cannot guarantee or accept requests for a specific early tee time.

If an early departure on Saturday is important to you, we strongly recommend selecting Wednesday for your Dooks round.

Accommodation

We recommend staying in Waterville for the duration of the event. The town offers a great range of accommodation and puts you right at the heart of the Kingdom Cup atmosphere.

Handicap

The maximum playing handicap for the event is 24 for men and 28 for ladies.

Payments

Your place can be secured with a €150 holding deposit.

Final payment for the event will be due in early December 2026.

Dooks – Opening Round

For those joining us on Wednesday, we begin the week with our opening round at Dooks Golf Club, one of Ireland’s great traditional links courses. It’s a fitting way to ease into the week before the group comes together in full.

Following the round, travel on to Waterville, where the majority of the 120 golfers will be based.

The Dooks round is split across two days to allow for flexibility within the group:

• Wednesday: 52 golfers

• Saturday: 68 golfers

For those wishing to travel home early on Saturday, playing on Wednesday provides the best option to do so.

Please note that Saturday tee times will commence from 11:10am onwards, with no early morning availability.

For those planning to travel home on Saturday morning or early afternoon, please note the following:

• The first tee time at Dooks is 11:10am

• Not all players can be allocated this time

• Tee times will run between 11:10am and 2:00pm

As there is high demand for early tee times on Saturday, we are unable to accommodate requests for specific early times on this day.

To provide flexibility, we have included the option to play either Wednesday or Saturday at Dooks.

We want to be fully upfront so expectations are clear from the outset.
